Simpli Review is a sole proprietorship operated in Quebec, Canada. We provide NFC-based review collection stands and AI-assisted review generation software for local businesses. You can reach us at evoframeshop@gmail.com.

2. What Information We Collect

From business owners (our clients):

• Business name and Google Maps listing (place ID)
• Services offered, team member names, and location names — as entered during setup
• A dashboard password (stored in encrypted form)
• Payment information — processed and stored by Stripe; we do not store card details

From customers who tap the NFC stand:

• Selections made during the review flow (service, highlights, staff member, location)
• We do not collect names, email addresses, or any account information from end customers
• No personal information from end customers is retained after the review session ends

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and deliver the Simpli Review service
• To generate AI-assisted review content based on selections made by your customers
• To authenticate client logins and protect dashboard access
• To process subscription payments through Stripe
• To respond to support and account inquiries

We do not sell your information to any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Simpli Review:

• Google — Google Maps Places API (for business lookup during setup) and Google Gemini (for AI review generation). Data shared with Google is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles all card data and is PCI-DSS compliant. Their privacy practices are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Render — Cloud hosting for our web application and API.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools on our website or in our application. We do not track your browsing behaviour across other websites.

6. Data Retention

Business account data (business name, services, team members, configuration) is retained for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you wish to reactivate. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

End customer session data (tag selections used to generate a review) is not stored beyond the active session.

7. Your Rights (Quebec Law 25 / PIPEDA)

As a resident of Quebec or Canada, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you
• Request a copy of your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Withdraw consent to the collection or use of your information

8. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, including encrypted password storage and HTTPS-only access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
